founded by Jeannine Wagner in 1991 under the auspices of
the Roger Wagner Choral Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization. Under her spirited guidance, the Ensemble
celebrates and promotes the musical legacy of her late
father, the legendary Roger Wagner. Nurtured in the
nuances of musical performance, Ms. Wagner brings to the
Ensemble her own unique passion for music, drawing
inspired interpretation from the singers.The Wagner Ensemble has dazzled audiences throughout Southern California in the performance of repertoire that includes choral masterpieces spanning the centuries from the Renaissance to the present. The juxtaposition of "early music" with music of our own century provides the backbone of our programming, as we are committed to communicating the resplendence of choral music throughout the 21st Century.
